FP Mine
Location: Geita Region

Project Scope: Milling, CIL, Elution and TSF
Grade: 1.3 g/t
Throughput: 800 tpd
FMS set out to process tailings derived from predominantly historic vat leached waste and colonial mine tailings hauled in from within the Geita district. FMS were responsible for the design, build and management of the mine.
Phoenix Mine
Location: Tanzania
Plant Type: Pilot plant, crushing, milling & carbon in leach plant
Project Scope: Mining, Tailings, process plant, TSF
Grade: 2 g/t
Throughput: 24 tpd
FMS owned a number of primary mining licences in the Musoma district. The site consisted of 60,000 tonnes of colonial tailings and an old mine down to three level. FMS installed a 24 tpd pilot to process a blend of high grade ore from the mine mixed with tailings.
Tulawaka & Buhemba Mine
FMS started a venture with the Tanzanian State Mining Company to explore the options of re-processing two large tailings sites within Tanzania. Previously the mines belonged to African Barrick Gold and and Meremeta Ltd.
